Bukayo Saka replicates Thierry Henry celebration as Martin Odegaard intervention appeared to inspire
Bukayo Saka took inspiration from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry when celebrating his goal against Everton, which he may have Martin Odegaard to thank for.
The 21-year-old continued his fine season for the Gunners to fire his side ahead against the Toffees.
Saka caught the Everton defence napping, turned inside the area and lashed his shot past Jordan Pickford, his 11th goal of the season.
He quickly began his celebrations, running and holding to corner flag similar to how Henry did during his career.
It was a deserved lead for the Gunners, and Dean Ashton noticed some true captain material from Martin Odegaard just moments before the opener.
Speaking to talkSPORT shortly before Saka's goal, the former striker said: "I've noticed Odegaard a couple of times has pointed towards his manager.
"I've noticed that [Gabriel] Martinelli after he spoke to [Mikel] Arteta has now gone through the middle.
"It's almost as if Odegaard said 'I can sense in this game we just need to change something, maybe just put Martinelli through the middle, a bit of pace, change things up'.

"I guess from a manager's point of view, it's not a bad thing that you've got you captain recognising something on the pitch."
The decision appeared to pay off even more as Martinelli doubled Arsenal's lead just six minutes later as Saka pounced on an error by Idrissa Gueye before the Brazilian slotted the ball past Jordan Pickford.
Odegaard got onto the scoresheet himself when he netted from Leandro Trossard's cross.
Martinelli then scored his second of the game to secure a huge 4-0 win for Arsenal in their quest for the Premier League title.
