Loresca started her career as a news associate at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, where she was in charge of script construction and teleprompter use during newscasts. She worked as the noon weather anchor and assignment editor for KGET-TV in Bakersfield, California, from January 2001 to August 2002. She came to KGPE-TV in Fresno, California, in 2002 to work as a morning and noon weather anchor.
She volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and the National Alliance to Nurture the Aged and the Youth (NANAY), a non-profit organization in the Philippines. Loresca gained the title of “America’s S*exiest Newscaster” in an online vote by FHM magazine readers while working at WSVN. In the October 2006 issue, she was highlighted.
Her husband is Ryan Nuveman. Loresca is the mother of two children. On September 4, 2010, Elita married Ryan Nuveman in a magnificent wedding ceremony. They have two children.
