Kendrea Van Vorst wrote on her Facebook profile, “Heather was one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met! She was an awesome nurse and I always loved working with her. She always knew how to make someone’s day better. Even in the end, she always asked me how I was doing and never once complained about her own situation. She always found the good in every situation, and I truly admire that about her. Heather, you will truly be missed and never forgotten. Rest easy, my friend. You deserve it.”
Mr. and Mrs. William Riggs, Heather’s beloved paternal grandparents, as well as Justin’s grandparents, Mr. Lewis Vandiver and Mrs. Marilyn Prados preceded her in death.
