Lucy Neville Releases New Single 'Ransom'

Fast rising electro-pop star Lucy Neville has released her brand new single titled ‘Ransom’. The new track is a great example of Neville’s unique combination of emotive lyrics with sonic arrangements that draw on folky charm and EDM-inspired hooks.

The 21-year-old’s sweet vocals and striking lyrics make her a real standout on the indie scene at the moment. Her sound draws on EDM, indie-pop and folk and the singer from Sydney, Australia is ready to take the world by storm with her latest release.

‘Ransom’ follows Lucy Neville’s breakout debut EP ‘Lady’ and her fanbase is growing everyday. She now boasts over 6 million streams and is only continuing to gain more each day as new listeners discover her vocal talents. In 2017 the musician’s streaming presence blossomed as she reached 600,000 monthly listeners.

Her new single is about falling in lust, and falling in love, Lucy explains;  “The initial curiosity, the pounding of your heart and the longing to belong to one another. I wrote Ransom for the millions of lovers who have faced the ‘Now or Never’ dilemma, and for that one moment of panic as you send that ultimatum text. Lovers, I hope the answer is NOW.”
