Messi gives personalized headphones to new teammates after win vs Atlanta
Lionel Messi's arrival at Inter Miami, and in the United States in general, is generating so much expectation and excitement that soccer is already being viewed differently in the country.
After all, fans on that side of the world now get to see one of the greatest athletes of all time every weekend.
"Messi has driven America crazy in 25 minutes and not only the fans but also his own teammates, who would never have thought of sharing a dressing room with the Argentine star," was how Christian Vieri put it.
One of those teammates is defender DeAndre Yedlin, who, in the mixed zone after Inter Miami's victory over Atlanta United (in which Messi scored a brace), spoke to the media.
He did so while wearing a headset decorated with the Inter Miami colors, while the headphones were also decorated with Messi's logo.

When asked about them, the US full-back confirmed that they were a gift.
"Yeah, Messi got them for the team," he said.
"I have no idea if he bought them, but he gave headphones to everybody for his first game."
Messi also showed his generosity recently by sharing tickets for his own presentation with teammate Leonardo Campana.
