Miranda Lambert & Brendan McLoughlin Introduce Their New Family Member
Miranda Lambert might be taking a break from touring amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but the virus isn’t keeping her off the road. The country music superstar and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, recently revealed that they purchased a $112K Airstream trailer so they can travel together while she makes music.
The Tin Man singer has been quarantining with McLoughlin on her 400-acre farm in Tennessee ever since her Wildcard tour was put on hold in March. However, she is ready to get back on the road, and she posted pics of her new trailer on Instagram.

“When people ask me questions about all the traveling I’ve done, my answer is pretty much the same every time. ‘I’ve been everywhere but I haven’t seen much of anything,’” Lambert wrote in the caption. “I’ve been touring for 19 years and most times we just roll in, play our show, and roll to the next town. I’ve only gotten to spend some real time in a few of the places I’ve been.”
Lambert explained that after having time to “nest” with McLoughlin and taking a “much needed break,” she now realizes that she can travel and make music with her husband even though she can’t travel and play shows.
She called McLoughlin the “most amazing travel companion,” and said that they decided to add “a new family member” and get back on the highway. Lambert also revealed that she named the 2020 Airstream Globetrotter “The Sheriff.”
The 27-foot trailer features a toilet, shower, and queen-size bed, and Lambert says this is the first new one she has bought even though she’s been a vintage trailer collector for years. She says that she is letting go of a few vintage things “to make room for adventure in this silver gem.”

Lambert admitted that she doesn’t like change, but she is learning to embrace it. She says that she will be pulling this new rig all over the country until she is able to get back on her tour bus, which she calls “Elvira.” The singer says that seeing the world again through a windshield will bring creative vibes.

Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin celebrated their first anniversary back in January. They met in November 2018 when she performed on Good Morning America with Pistol Annies and he was a New York City police officer working crowd control in the Times Square area and married three months later.
