Karam relies on adequate sleep and hydration to keep her feeling her best. "I should prioritize stretching and recovery more than I do; I'm always so knotted up," she says. "But drinking lots of water—when I'm actually doing it—and getting enough sleep really helps reduce the stress my body holds on to."

Karam practiced fighting for her role as Jasmine "Jaz" Khan on The Brave, but prefers boxing. "I've been in Thailand, but I didn't do Muay Thai there," she says. "I do boxing. I just do Western boxing. I'm just a straight up boxer."

Taking baths are Karam's favorite way to decompress after a busy day. "I love baths. I take at least one bath a day, sometimes multiple," she says. "When I get home from set, I run a bath with either Epsom salts or a funky bath bomb and some oils in it then lie there and soak in some dim lighting. That's usually my decompression routine, and If I can convince my lovely boyfriend to give me a shoulder massage or a foot massage, that always helps!"

Karam's loves indulging in the occasional burger. "The first thing I remember cheating with on The Brave…I didn't cheat the whole time I was in Albuquerque," she says. "And then I came out to L.A., and my best friend was here from London, and he really wanted a burger. So I took him to this burger place I read reviews of, and I was gonna just sit there and watch him eat. Then I was like, 'Uh, no, I've gotta do it'."

Karam uses clean beauty products to maintain the health and beauty of her skin. "My aesthetician Zaida Gordon at Skintegrity in LA put me onto a clean skin-care line for sensitive skin," she says. "It's called Hale & Hush and I only use their skin care now. When I first saw her, I was having breakouts and coming up in rashes, my skin barrier was compromised, and every product felt stingy on my face. It's been over a year since I changed over to these products, and I've had consistently clear and healthier skin since. I love the vitamin C serum and the Quiet face wash."
