Tommaso Ciampa is an American professional wrestler who is best known for his stints with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.) (2005-2007, 2015-2017), its NXT brand (2018-Present), and Ring of Honor (2011–2015). He had started his career in 2005 and had performed for several promotions on the independent circuit between 2007 and 2016.   • Tommaso had started his professional wrestling career in 2005 and after slugging it out on the independent circuit for nearly 2 years, he had been signed up on a developmental contract by WWE in 2007 and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling. His joy was short-lived though as he had been released from the contract by August 2007. It was partly to do with the fact that he had spent most of that phase out of action due to an injury that he had sustained early in his stint there.
  • Until March 2014, in parallel with his professional wrestling career, he had worked a part-time job managing a fitness studio. He had once mentioned in an interview that he would love to become a backstage producer or coach once he retires from wrestling.
  • As Tommaso Ciampa, he had made his video game debut as a playable character in WWE 2K18 and was featured again in WWE 2K20. He could not appear in WWE 2K19 as he was nursing a severe injury around that time and thus could not provide motion capture during the production of the game.
